Introduction to Engineering Design (2 GE 102)

الوصف This course is basically to make students of Engineering familiar with the Design of Things and develop their skills: 

  • Formally Expose students to the engineering field
  • Enhance problem-solving skills in mathematics, science, and engineering
  • Develop skills in the engineering design process.
  • Grasp the values of professionalism, ethics, safety, intellectual property, environment, and human factors.
  • Introduce the design process, problem-solving skills, and practices dealing with open-ended problems
  • Enforce the skills in teamwork, group dynamics, critical thinking, planning, scheduling, and written/oral communications through the design project
  • Develop professional behavior in punctuality, time management, meeting deadlines, and professional appearance appropriate for engineering professionals.
