Dr. Muhammad Akram

Dr. Muhammad Akram received a PhD degree in Information and Communication Technology from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia, an MS degree in Computer Science from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden, and an MCS degree from the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan. He is currently serving as a Lecturer and Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Systems, Najran University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With over 17 years of teaching and research experience, he has made significant contributions to academia and quality assurance in higher education. His research focuses on Human–Computer Interaction, web accessibility, usability, information and network security, cryptography, and machine learning. Dr. Akram has authored two books and published more than 40 scholarly articles in reputed journals and conferences. He actively reviews high-impact journals such as IEEE Access, Cognitive Computation, PLoS One, Journal of Healthcare Engineering, and Alexandria Engineering Journal. He is also a member of the Editorial Review Board, International Journal of Advanced Computer Systems and Software Engineering (IJACSSE). Under his leadership, Najran University’s QA Unit has advanced its ABET and NCAAA accreditation efforts, emphasizing outcome-based education and continuous quality improvement. His work continues to integrate innovation, academic excellence, and institutional quality enhancement.
