- To enable students to understand and apply the basic scientific principles of mechanical engineering and to use engineering and computational tools to analyze and solve problems.
- To enable students to apply appropriate scientific, practical, and statistical techniques in engineering analysis and mechanical engineering applications.
- To enable students to integrate information from multiple disciplines into the analysis, synthesis, and design of mechanical engineering systems in a realistic context.
- To enable students to acquire the technical writing and effective communication skills necessary for successful participation in teamwork and leadership positions.
- To instill in our students the importance of professional and ethical responsibilities.
